Pan Based Graphite Felt
Pan based graphite felt, also known as polyacrylonitrile, is designed and used as high-temperature insulation in vacuum and inert gas furnaces, among other applications. In comparison to rayon felt, Pan based graphite felt has larger courser fibers, lower surface area, and better oxidation resistance.
